While working at the Crucible, a not-for-profit industrial art studio in Oakland, I designed and created a series of pieces to be displayed and donated at the annual Fuego Showcase.

Metamorphosis

For my first year designing for the Crucible, I hand cut, etched, and soldered a crown of copper butterflies. Each butterfly was individually hammer textured or etched with ferric chloride to create a unique pattern.
